Single-Best Deer Food?
Question: If you could only plant one food crop for drawing in deer, what would that be?
Answer: If I could only plant a single crop to feed deer it would be a clover/chicory mix because of it's nutritional content, longevity and preference by deer. If I was only interested in drawing deer during the hunting season I would plant a soybean/cowpea mix to archery hunt over and a brassicas mix to rifle hunt over. Good luck next season.
